I like the coal stocks, and you?

The main factor of the multi-day correction of the JCI is a hike inflation caused by the rising commodity price and Indonesian interest rate. The JCI should not falls below 3,527; or else it will decline to 3,478 and then 3,350 with a potential resistance at 3,650. We might see a technical rebound with less volume in the next few days.

Investors expect the Bank Indonesia governor Darmin Nasution will increase the interest rate to slow down the inflation. In short-term, the banking stocks are still in a downtrend and also the Astra International (ASII IJ). However, we are still positive for the long term trend of the JCI.

During the inflation issue which is mostly impact by bad weather, we recommend you to trade in the coal stocks. The cooking coal rise astronomically due to a massive flood in Australia and it requires at least 3-6 months recovering.
We like BUMI IJ, HRUM IJ, ADRO IJ, and BORN IJ for a short-term trading.
